Explanation

Inktober is a cereative event, in which artists from all around the world post every day of October, many of them taking inspiration from the same prompt list. Lat year I created a set of 16 simple papertoys, for 2018 I’m focusing on my illustrations of not-so-cute animals. I’m excited to see how fans of my work react because my illustration style is very different from the work they’re used to seeing.

Inktober began in 2009 thanks to an artist who refers to himself as Mr Jake Parker. Jake says on the Inktober website that he started Inktober as a way of challenging himself to improve his ‘inking skills’ and as a way of ‘developing positive drawing habits’. More and more drawing enthusiasts take part in Inktober each year.
