I’ve slowly started to branch out with my video content recently. I’m shifting focus a lot more over this coming year to point a camera towards whatever I’m working at and turn it into interesting and easily digestible content. This includes categorization and sorting through my rather large portfolio of work. The result is this new project overviews, videos exploring larger projects instead of individual toys, discussing the paper engineering involved as well as the graphical style and decisions that were being made in the background during the projects production. To start off this video series I’ve made a video looking at a series of 10 dinosaur models I designed for Twinkl in 2017, one of the last large projects I worked on whilst I was still with the company. I hope you find this overview interesting and it helps give a greater understanding of some of the choices and techniques used in professional paper toy projects.
